One hundred and six students out of 210 enrolled in the PGA Golf Management Program at Coastal Carolina University currently have GPAs above a 3.0. The minimum GPA to remain eligible for the program is a 2.0.
James Madison University's program board recently selected over 70 students to be Programmers-In-Training. The PIT Crew, as they are known, has been through six weeks of training about programming, marketing and leadership skills to prepare them to work behind-the-scenes at large and small venue concerts, film screenings and student created events.

A total of 12,594 students enrolled during the 2017 fall semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Ohio Wesleyan University held its 173rd commencement ceremony on May 13, 2017. The OWU Class of 2017 included 383 spring, summer, and fall graduates, with students representing 20 countries from Afghanistan to Venezuela. Nineteen students and five faculty leaders recently returned from a study abroad trip to Arezzo, Italy. This was the third annual Arezzo trip where students were able to reside and study at the Accademia dell'Arte in Arezzo. From Arezzo the students traveled to various Tuscan towns such as Assisi, Orvieto, Cortona, Florence, Siena and Rome.

Liberty League commissioner Tracy King has announced that 222 winter sport student-athletes have qualified for the league's 2016-17 All-Academic Teams in their respective sports. A total of 32 RIT student-athletes earned All-Academic honors for the winter season.

Oklahoma City University awards merit-based scholarships to freshmen who demonstrate outstanding academic achievement and potential, regardless of financial circumstances. Merit scholarship amounts range from $1,500 to $7,500.
